Words of hope. Words of joy. Words of peace. Words of grace.
The beauty of the written word is a dream for me—a hope, a longing, a purpose. With this blog, my desire is to use the language God has given (frail though my tongue may be) to paint pictures of glory and grace—and of Christ, who is Himself the Word, who took on flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). May these sketches show His glory, even as one fleeting glimpse on a mountain path provides a moment of breathtaking bliss.
To you, the reader, I ask for companionship. Come along on this journey with me, and share these moments of bliss. Learn and live with me so that we may spur one another on toward the gospel, toward Christ, and toward glory. We share the pathway—let us share the joy.
This blog will be, Lord willing, straightforward. My intent is not to spill out on the page a drivel of daily details in such a way as to satisfy curiosity or have an outlet for someone to listen. The desire strongest in my heart is that, in the daily details, Christ may be seen, in all His grace and glory. That is the cause for which I write, that I may ever more run toward Christ.
I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember Your wonders of old. I will ponder all Your work, and meditate on Your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your might among the peoples.
